Welcome to the Law Office of Scott Pletcher in State College, Pennsylvania, home of Penn State University and the Nittany Lions. My practice is limited to Driving Under the Influence (DUI) defense and Traffic Law.  I primarily practice in Centre County, Blair County, Clearfield County and Clinton County. 

Much of my traffic law defense work involves speeding ticket representation at The District Court level in State College and those cited on Interstate 80.

I offer individualized counseling to meet each client’s needs. First time DUI offenders may fear losing their driver’s license, incurring big fines, a steep rise in insurance costs or even a jail term. To address these fears, I spend time explaining the process and what to expect. I offer a free initial consultation, during which I go over the paperwork related to the DUI or traffic citation, discuss potential penalties, listen to the potential client's version of the citation or arrest, and help them consider their options.

I charge a reasonable, flat fee, with additional charges if an investigation or a trial is needed. Less than 10% of DWI/DUI cases in State College actually go to trial.
